Certified Instructors
Do you love to share your passion and knowledge of mountain biking with others? Do you currently have a BICP or PMBIA instructor certification? SMBA offers a progressive platform to support coaches as they grow both professional and personally. We are always looking for great additions to our team:
BICP or PMBIA Certification
Excellent communications skills
Prior teaching experience
Bike park skills (many of our lessons happen within the Sedona Bike Park)
A passion for working with adults and our younger students
Knowledge of Sedona trails, ride timing and ability assessment
Comfortable with lesson plan creation and development
Youth Development
Love to work with kids? Us too! SMBA is currently looking for instructors who have a passion for mentoring our next generation of trail riders. Ages typically range from 7-16. We currently have both lead coaching and assistant coaching positions open. Skills needed:
Lead Coach Requirements:
BICP or PMBIA certified instructor
The passion, energy and charisma for working with kids!
Excellent communications skills geared towards youth riders
Comfortable with lesson plan creation and development
Assistant Coach Requirements:
Excellent communications skills
Engaging attitude and ability to work well with others
