Ready to take your riding to the next level? Back for another consecutive year - join professional mountain biker, filmmaker, and mental-performance coach Braydon Bringhurst alongside the Sedona Mountain Bike Academy Certified instructors for an advanced skills clinic on some of Sedona’s most iconic and challenging terrain.

You may recognize Braydon from 8600FT or from Without a Doubt. Known for his powerful, creative, and remarkably composed trail riding, Braydon brings a unique approach that blends technical skill development with intention, confidence, and a growth-focused mindset.

This clinic is for advanced and expert riders who confidently ride black- and some double-black-diamond trails. We’ll spend the morning on Hogs and Brewer, where steep, chunky descents, slickrock rolls, technical climbs, tight corners, and classic Sedona exposure create the ideal setting to challenge your skills and expand what feels possible on the bike.

Through focused coaching, guided practice, and on-trail application, you’ll work on riding more dynamically, efficiently, and confidently in technical terrain. Expect personalized feedback from Braydon and the SMBA coaching team as you explore creative line choice, advanced braking techniques, cornering, and Braydon's personal mindset approach.

Skills focus:

  • Advanced body positioning for steep, loose, and technical terrain

  • Dynamic braking, balance, and bike-body separation

  • Cornering technique, line choice, and maintaining speed through varied surfaces

  • Slickrock rolls, ledges, and managing exposure with confidence

  • Technical climbing tactics for high-consequence terrain

  • Building a deliberate practice routine to support long-term progression

  • On-trail coaching and personalized feedback throughout the ride

Come ride some of the best technical trails in our backyard, connect with a small group of like-minded riders, and learn from one of mountain biking’s most creative and thoughtful athletes. This is a rare opportunity for high-level, small-group coaching in Sedona - limited to 8 riders.

When: November 6, 8:00–11:00 AM
Cost: $245

Prerequisite: Riders must be comfortable and confident riding black- and some double-black-diamond terrain, including steep rock rolls, technical climbs, loose/chunky descents, and exposure. All riders must have an established fitness base. Analog bikes only, in agreement with USFS Permitting.
